Delbert Lee Turner, 48, proprietor for 15 years of Turner's Grocery at New Maysville and also employed as a pipefitter died Wednesday after a brief illness. He was a son of Delbert Lee and Hattie Clark Turner and was born August 13, 1921 at Homer, Ky. He was married May 11, 1940 to Joyce Bond at Greenville, Ky. Mr. Turner attended New Maysville Community Church. Surviving are his wife an two sisters, Mrs Alta Earhart of Nashville, Tenn and Mrs. Martha Vasquez of Lafayette, Calif. A son died in 1957. Funeral services and burial will be in Kentucky. Friends may call at Perkins Funeral hOme here Thursday afternoon and evening.
